Fall 2009 Rec Evaluations

Coaches are asked to make a fair and accurate assessment of the performance and attributes of each of thier players.  The rankings will be 1 through 5 with 5 being the highest.

Ranking Descriptions:

  1. Lower productivity child - could be unmotivated, immature, or disruptive. Generally, lacks interest. Soccer skills are low to poor.
  2. Kid that tries but needs work, may shy away from actively participating in the game.
  3. Somewhat solid player that can adapt to most positions and generally contributes and performs as expected for their age group. This player understands what is required to properly dribble, pass, and shoot, but sometimes has difficulty executing.
  4. Kid that will play most positions well and can make an impact in games.
  5. Player who performs far above his/her peers at this age bracket. This player understands the concepts of dribbling, passing, and shooting and is physically able to execute them. This player has the ability to individually impact the match; i.e., he/she can dribble around players, score, and play strong defense.
